This too shall pass, sooner than you think. He looks gorgeous!!! About the colic - try winding him by holding him upright and just walking up and down the stairs 1ce or 2ce ... a tip from my midwife and seems to work because they "tense" a little when you do this (the up and down movement causes this) and then they seem to squeeze the burp out a little easier. Failing which try a warm bath at the times the colic seems at it's worst. Here's a lovely little note my mom sent me when Thomas was born ... A baby asks God : They tell me you are sending me to earth tomorrow, but how am I going to live being so small and helpless? God said : An angel will be waiting for you and will take care of you Baby : But tell me God, here in heaven I have nothing to do but sing and smile and be happy God said : Your angel will sing for you and smile at you and you will feel your angels love and be very happy Baby : But how will I understand when people talk to me if I don't know the language God replied : Your angel will tell you the most beautiful and sweet words you will hear and with patience and care she will tell you how to speak Baby : But who will protect me God : Your angel will defend you even if its means risking it's life At that moment there was peace in heaven and voices calling from the Earth could be heard so the baby hurriedly asked : God, if I must go now - please tell me my angels name God : You will simply call her "Mom" Hi Mich / James
